Where are you located?

 

Breezy Acres is located just outside of Paris, Texas on Hwy 271 South, on 593 County Road 13300. We are approximately 4 miles from the loop.

 

When can I drop off or pick up my dog?

 

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Closed on Wednesday (no drop offs or pick ups)

Saturday 8:00 am-12:00 pm

Sunday 2:00 pm-5:00 pm

**When dropping off your pet, please give definite pick up times. If something changes, call in advance before picking your pet up.**

 

I have a puppy. How old does he/she need to be to stay at Breezy Acres?

 

We do not have age restrictions, as long as your pet is up-to-date on his/her vaccinations. Your puppy must have his/her Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine. However, please make sure your dogs are not in heat during their time of visit.

 

Are there any additional charges for walking my dog, playtime or medications?

 

Only medication. There will be a $2.00 charge for all medications given per day.

How much playtime will my dog have?

 

We rotate dogs in and out of playgroups according to their needs. On average, your dog will have up to 4 hours of playtime interspersed with nap time, weather permitting. We also have a 32 inch flat screen tv so your pet can enjoy movies like "Fox and the Hound" and "Lady and the Tramp" while they rest. 

 

My dog doesn't play well with others. Will he get enough exercise?

 

Yes, our staff will play with and or handwalk your dog throughout the day so that he/she is relaxed and happy.

 

Do you have any breed restrictions?

 

No, but we will not accept dogs that have aggresive behaviors.

 

Is it OK if my dog is not neutered or spayed?

 

Yes. Spay/neuter is a decision for you and your vet. We can accommodate intact animal.  Please let us know if your female is close to expected heat so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Do you offer grooming services?

 

We do not offer grooming services. We will however bathe your pet by request only. (Limited to small and medium dogs) $15.00 per pet.

 

Is your facility climate-controlled?

 

Yes, our facility is climate controlled all year round.

 

Can I bring my dogs food, bed or toys?

 

Yes! Bring enough food for your dogs stay in a lableled container.  This is just like sending your kid off to camp, make sure everything has his/her name. However, if you choose not to bring your pets own food, we offer high protein kibble at no cost.

 

Do I need to have vaccination records for my dog?

 

We require that all shots be up to date. Shots required are rabies, bordatella (kennel cough), distemper and parvo. We also require that your pet is on some sort of flea and tick preventative. All shot records need to be faxed to our office before you arrive or brought with you on the day of check-in. Our fax is 903-739-2243. For the safety of our other guests; there is no exception to this rule. If we do not have these records your dog could be exempt from staying in our facility.
